So ......
Today was the day.
The day we showcase our 3 months of hardwork and effort.
-
These 3 months were full of emotions - we felt so 'little', so incapable (cos' we basically didn't beat anyone in order to get into finals), excited, lazy, enthu and etc etc, more of mixture.
You know the YOG 3-week break?? We had to sacrifice the holidays to prepare for the report which judges would read through to determine if we would get into the Finals.
It wasn't only report that were submitted, we also prepared our tattoos designs which features the glow-in-he-dark series, scented series as well as the classic ones.
And ....... frankly speaking, i wasn't in much hope that we would get into the Finals but as the saying goes, 人算不如天算, the truth turned out to be we were in the Finals (if you guys read my posts frequently you'd know)

Day of Final Rehearsal

Final rehearsal fell on Wednesday, and on thursday, we stayed back again to practice cos' we're having our Fashion Show to showcase our tattoos!
& on Friday,
We had 3hrs before we need to go back to school for balloting. Hence we celebrated Emily's birthday @ Benten's!

Afterwhich, back to school for balloting and my "lucky" hand chose 8th!!!!
OMGYM!! I knew this wasn't a good position but urm .... sorry

So after the briefing, the 4 of us panicked cos the speaker briefed us on what the judges want during presentation and what we currently have on slides were not 100% what they want.
So, stayed back to discuss till around 9pm before we made our way home, and agreed to be online by 11pm so as to discuss!!!!!
Of course, we settled nearly everything at around 3plus and hit my bed zzzzz.

Woke up at as early as 6.30am, prepared, packed and off to school!
When we reached, all we saw were teams dressed up so formally!! We went into mlt 8 (presentations @ mlt 8) and sat down. Nobody cared about us, talked to us, or even briefed us!!! Like tsk.
Know what, cos' we weren't dressed in formal, but instead, attire for Fashion Show.
Awwwwww.

But anyway we went to Hilltop first since our slot's at 1.40pm and that we don't have to register so early at 8.45!!
But in the end, we 4 girls need to go home and get our formal cos we have to be dress appropriately during the Prize Presentation!!

It was like 20mins before our turn!!! ( & see lah, we wear until like this no wonder nobody care about us when we first sat in mlt 8, they thought we were audiences?!?!)

And the time came. We had this 'jiayou jiayou jiayou oooosh' thingy just before our turn, and this sort of gave us a lil' motivation and confidence.
Everything was going so smoothly and just then, i stupidly got my hand's smudged with red ink!!! I was flustered but KeetHui gave me a look filled with 安全感 HAHAHA!!

But anyway, Chris presented so well, and we girls just posed thick-skinly HAHA.
Not-so-stress us!!

It was a short interval before we got to know our results.

You know how it felt like when we were sitting down there? My hands were so cold, and Chris was beside me near-to-trembling.
The judge started off from Local Category, the 3 merit. And then he moved on to the 3rd position, going on to 2nd and lastly, the 1st.
After the 3 merit (SP's Tattoosh not mentioned), there was a slight relieve. But the feeling became soooo intensed.

3rd - Not us.
2nd - He purposely delayed and delayed & kept mouthing something like 'S' or "Ngee" (Cos' left with SP & NP) Wah lao, we were already trembling like siao and he kept delaying.

But guess what, he announced NGEE ANN!!!! AND AT THAT MOMENT, WE GIRLS SCREAMED MY GOD LECTURERS ALSO SCREAMED CANNNNNN!!!!
(COS THAT MEANS WE'RE THE 1ST 1ST 1ST)
HAHAHAHAHA.

But next, there was this "LAST COMPETITION".

There're 6 local & 6 overseas institution. So we, SP was the 1st in the Local Category. And there was this 1st in the Overseas Category. So, there's this competition to which where judges would compare which is better! [The Challenger]

At this moment, i don't believe that we would won cos it'd be like a miracle!! Overseas leh, they're powerful one lor! But guess what, the judge who's annoucing explained that they didn't know which institution it was, which basically means that they are not biased and he kept looking at us!!
You know that feeling like you think you'd win but then again, impossible?!!?! Like he kept looking at our direction but in the end he announced the Overseas institution howwww??

HAHAHA. But yeah, we won again!!!! Super happy max!!

It was definitely my pleasure to work together with these people, and to gain experience!! It was such a wonderful moment which i can't forget! We even had a group hug omg we were too excited!!! Definitely worth our sacrifices and effort. Of cos, very much thank you to the coaches!! Cheers!

So ......
